DETAILS:

What must young men and women do under current

draft law? What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of

enlistment? What are some of

the reasons some of us decide to become

conscientious objectors? What must one do to

make the case that you are conscientious objector

(CO)? Two Quaker COs, Ben Griffith and Richard

Mitchell will present key information and lead

what we expect will be a lively discussion.

NOTE: We do not want to raise unwarranted alarm.

We believe that resumption of the draft in the

near term is unlikely, but not impossible. It

is difficult to predict what will happen in the

long term.
